Production Log 1 This week my classmates and I have had a meeting with Mr Phillips the head teacher of Lilian Baylis Technology School. He has given us his brief on what he would like the schools advertisement to be like and what he would like for us to include. We have also discussed as a group who will be allocated which job role and we had come to the decision that everyone should do the same job but we alternate turns equally. I have also started with some pre production on my own such as the Risk Assessment, and also the Cast, Crew, Equipment and Prop lists.

Investigating Briefs in Media Contractual Contractual briefs are when a contracts exists between a client and with a production company. The production company is usually hired by the client and they would then discuss terms of their contract before actually agreeing to the terms. One the contracted has been signed you are then legally forced to oblige. An example of this would be when an actor and production company set up a contract on what they have agreed. The actor is then obliged legally into doing what has been agreed this can be from doing something in a movie or for instance how many movies they are going to film in.  An advantage of having a contractual agreement is that anything that you agree is clearly there in writing and that there is no going back on the agreement.
